Asteroid Belt Project



The Space outside of the earthis secretly. Human thinks they need to understand further than only the earth.Human found we are living in the solar system; there are several big planetswith different characters and different looking.  They are the shining stars we can see directly by our eyes.  However, there is also a charmingasteroid belt existing in our solar system, just like the necklace of the solarsystem. The wonderful decoration of asteroid belt gives the solar system avivid energy. They always move their tracks by those big planets’ gravitation.
 
Just like the asteroid belt,jewelry decorates the person who wears it.  The charming of jewelry is always for making the real star(the wearer) looks more shining. Jewelry might be move to another ownersometimes (as asteroid moves their track), but it always left beautiful livesto the past owners. I have to say Jewelry just like our asteroid belt movearound our bodies to make our lives wonderful.
 
This necklace was made after thethinking between jewelry and asteroid belt. I found the relationship betweenjewelry and asteroid belt is very interesting and philosophic connected.Therefore, I used many kinds of experimental material and technique to makethis piece.  It brings aboriginal andfuturistic atmosphere at the same time to the wearer.
